Lanikai Beach is a half mile long beach located on the south east side of Oahu, Hawaii. The word Lanikai means "heavenly sea" in the Hawaiian language.

The beach is ranked one of the top 10 beaches in Hawaii with its clean water, powdered-sugar sand, swaying coconut palms and beautiful view of twin Mokulua Island distance away. Popular activities on Lanikai include swimming, snorkeling, sun-bathing kayaking, outrigger canoeing, sailing, surfing, and windsurfing. The beach is right by the residential area so is only accessible through public access paths. There are no public parking lots, restrooms, showers or lifeguards.
