Big Bear Lake is a city with population of 5,438 about 25 miles northeast of San Bernardino and 85 miles east of Los Angeles. Big Bear Lake is 6,752 feet above sea level nesting in San Bernardino National Forest along the south shore of Big Bear Lake. The city is a famous ski area during winter time and popular resort destination all year round for Southern California residents. The main attraction in the area is Big Bear Lake, a mountain reservoir 7 mile long and 2.5 mile wide with max dept of 72 feet. Another main attraction in the area is Big Bear Village, a shopping district with gift shops and dining places.
