Ojai is a small town in Ventura County, California with population of 8,226. The mountain town is located in the Ojai Valley, surrounded by hills and mountains. Ojai has long been known as a haven for artists, musicians and health enthusiasts. With its natural beauty, the town it gained fame decades ago when the area was photographed to represent Shangri-La in the 1939 movie, The Lost Horizon.
The main business district in Ojai is along Ojai Avenue which boasts shops, art galleries and restaurants in historic setting. Also on Ojai Avenue are Ojai Valley Historical Museum, Ojai Library, Libbey Park, and Ojai Post Office - the town's landmark.
