Waimānalo is a small community of 0.4 square miles with population of 3,664 at the eastern end of Oahu island, Hawaii. In the Hawaiian language Waimānalo means "potable water"; it is so named for the many brackish ponds in the area that were used for irrigation. The main attraction in the area is Sea Life Park where visitor can swim with dolphins and hug sea lions. Other attractions in the area includes Waimānalo Bay State Recreation Area, Waimānalo Beach Park
