Waipahu is a community of 2.6 square miles with population of 33,108 at south central Oahu island, Hawaii. Waipahu is a former sugar plantation town of Oahu Sugar Company which was incorporated in 1897. The main attraction in the area is Hawaii Plantation Village, an outdoor history museum about Hawaii's Sugar Plantations.
